Aniplex revealed this Wednesday a new video for the anime My Love Story With Yamada-kun no Lv999 (Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru), a video that reveals that the anime will premiere on April 1st .

The video in question highlights the character Akane Kinoshita .

Morio Asaka (Chihayafuru, Card Captor Sakura, My Love Story!!) is directing the anime at studio Madhouse . Kunihiko Hamada is designing the characters, while Yasuhiro Nakanishi (A Couple of Cuckoos, Kaguya-sama: Love is War) is in charge of the series' scripts.

Mashiro debuted the manga in 2018, in addition, publisher Kadokawa published the sixth volume of the manga on October 21st.

Synopsis

After her boyfriend cheats on her with another girl he met in the game, Akane Kinoshita learns the hard way that gamer boyfriends can be just as bad as real-life ones. While venting her anger by beating up monsters in a game, she has a chance encounter with Akito Yamada, a fellow guildmate with an afro and a Noh mask. Yamada is unsociable and cutting, and he is not the type of person to make Akane fall in love. However, although his gaming statistics may be high, Yamada is inexperienced in matters of the heart, and against all odds, she is attracted to him. Making new friends along the way, will Akane then be able to stir Yamada's heart?
