The premiere date for the anime ' My New Boss Is Goofy ' ( Atarashii Jōshi wa Do Tennen ) was revealed during the Aniplex Online Fest 2023 . Additionally, new promotional art was released.

In the video we can hear the opening theme “PLANETARIA” by Fujifabric and the ending theme “Hanataba” sung by Lenny code fiction. Therefore , the anime premieres on October 7th of this year.
Noriyuki Abe (Bleach, Ōoku: The Inner Chambers) is directing the anime at A-1 Pictures , and Masahiro Yokotani (Beelzebub, The Devil Is a Part-Timer!) is in charge of the series scripts.
Synopsis
The workplace comedy follows the story of Kentarō Momose, a 26-year-old office worker. After leaving his previous job due to harassment from his former boss, he is now worried that his new boss might do the same. However, his anxiety is quickly relieved when he meets Yūsei Shirosaki, his new boss, who is so laid-back and awkward that all the tension disappears.
My New Boss is Goofy (Atarashii Joushi wa Do Tennen) started on Ichikawa's Twitter and later appeared in Manga Cross in February 2019. Furthermore, Akita Shoten released its first volume in August 2019 and its second in May 2020.
