The popular fantasy manga The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) by author Suzuki has finally received some new news. According to an official publication in Weekly Shōnen magazine, the manga will soon be coming to Japanese television screens.

The magazine also highlights that the manga already has over 3 million copies in circulation. Kodansha is publishing the eighth compiled volume, with a bonus story about the Fairy King.

Kodansha Comics, the manga's publisher in North America, also revealed some of the premise of this new adaptation. Suzuki launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2012, and Kodansha Comics published the first English volume last month. Crunchyroll will post the new chapters as they appear in Japan.

It's worth noting that the manga already has a crossover chapter with Fairy Tail, and Weekly Shonen Jump was the magazine that inspired the anime.
