Suzuki popular fantasy manga The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) finally has some news. According to an official publication in Weekly Shōnen magazine, the manga will soon hit Japanese television screens.
The magazine also highlights that the manga already has over 3 million copies in circulation. Kodansha is publishing the eighth volume of the compiled book, with a bonus story about the Fairy King.
Kodansha Comics, the manga's publisher in North America, also revealed some of the premise of this new adaptation. Suzuki launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2012, and Kodansha Comics published the first English volume last month. Crunchyroll will be posting the new chapters as they appear in Japan.
Remembering that the manga already has a crossover chapter with Fairy Tail, Weekly Shonen was inspired to create the animation.
