The official website for the highly anticipated anime The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) released a quick promotional video to promote the adaptation by author Nakaba Suzuki . The series is scheduled to premiere on October 5th.
The manga's story follows the "Seven Deadly Sins", an evil group of knights who plotted to overthrow the kingdom of Britannia, who were supposedly eradicated by the Divine Knights, although there are still rumors that they are alive. Ten years later, the Divine Knights carried out a coup d'état and assassinated the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. Elizabeth, the king's only daughter, sets out on a journey to find the "Seven Deadly Sins" and recruit them so they can help take the kingdom back.
Author Suzuki launched the manga through Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2012, Kodansha Comics published the third volume in English.
