The official website for the highly anticipated anime The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) has released a short promotional video to promote the adaptation by author Nakaba Suzuki . The series is scheduled to premiere on October 5th.
The manga's story follows the "Seven Deadly Sins," a group of evil knights who conspired to overthrow the kingdom of Britannia. They were supposedly eradicated by the Holy Knights, though rumors persist that they are still alive. Ten years later, the Holy Knights staged a coup and assassinated the king, becoming the new and tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. Elizabeth, the king's only daughter, embarks on a journey to find the "Seven Deadly Sins" and recruit them to help reclaim the kingdom.
Author Suzuki launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2012, and Kodansha Comics published the third volume in English.
