After the sketches of Kakashi were released, in which “Sixth” was written on his back (Image 1, below.) the Facebook page for the movie “The Last – Naruto the Movie” announced that Hatake Kakashi will be the sixth hokage (Image 2, below).
Kakashi had already been listed as Hokage before, shortly after Danzou was considered a traitor for not being trustworthy within the meeting of the 5 kages, however Tsunade, who was the current Hokage, woke up from the coma she was in after the fight against Pain.
The manga will conclude on November 10th in Shonen Jump issue 50, and he hasn't yet achieved his dream of becoming Hokage. But who knows what's in store for the new film? Maybe Kakashi will hand over the reins to Naruto? We eagerly await its premiere.
Naruto is an anime and manga series created by Masashi Kishimoto and serialized in the weekly magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since 1999. It received an anime adaptation in 2002, produced by Studio Pierrot and broadcast on TV Tokyo, followed by Naruto Shippuden in February 2007, corresponding to the second part of the manga. The plot revolves around Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who constantly seeks recognition and dreams of becoming a Hokage, the supreme and most powerful leader of his village.
