After Kakashi's sketches were released, with “Sixth” written on his back (Image 1, below.) ~~the Facebook page of the film “The Last – Naruto the Movie~~” announced that Hatake Kakashi will be the sixth hokage (Image 2, below).

Kakashi had already been listed as Hokage before, shortly after Danzou was considered a traitor for being unreliable within the meeting of the 5 kages, but Tsunade, who was the current Hokage, woke up from the coma she was in after the fight against Pain.

The manga will conclude on November 10th, in issue 50 of Shonen Jump, and he has not been able to fulfill his dream of becoming Hokage so far. But who knows what will come in the new film? Who knows, maybe Kakashi will pass the position on to Naruto!? We eagerly await its debut.

Naruto is an anime and manga series created by Masashi Kishimoto and serialized in the weekly magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since 1999. It received an anime adaptation in 2002, produced by Studio Pierrot and shown on TV Tokyo, followed by Naruto Shippuden in February 2007, corresponding to the second part of the manga. The plot revolves around Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who constantly seeks recognition and has the dream of becoming a Hokage, the highest and most powerful leader of his village.
