During the panel at the CinemaCon 2024 , producer Lionsgate revealed that the live-action Naruto is already in the production stage.

Remembering that in February of this year, the website Variety , confirmed that Destin Daniel Cretton , known for directing “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” will direct the film. The script is by Tasha Huo ( The Witcher: Blood Origin ).

First published in Japan in 1999, the "Naruto" manga quickly established itself as a global cultural phenomenon, selling over 250 million copies in over 60 countries and territories . The anime adaptation also solidified its status as one of the most popular series worldwide.

Although a live-action adaptation doesn't yet have a release date, it's been a longtime desire of Lionsgate (known for "The Hunger Games"). In 2015, the studio even hired Michael Gracey ("The Greatest Showman") to direct the project, but production was ultimately postponed indefinitely.

Finally, comment if you are looking forward to the Naruto live-action.
