Masashi Kishimoto will launch his new manga, Naruto Gaiden: Uzu no Naka no Tsumujikaze , on July 18th. In addition, he also released new artwork of Minato Namikaze Naruto 's father , who will be the protagonist of the one-shot.

In celebration of the franchise's 20th anniversary, Naruto held its first global voting poll called NARUTOTP99 . Minato, having received the most votes, was chosen to have his own one-shot manga. According to Kishimoto, the one-shot will be 55 pages long and will tell the story of how Minato learned to use the famous jutsu that made him known as the Yellow Flash.
Naruto received its first anime adaptation by Studio Pierrot in 2002, lasting until 2007. However, in the same year, the anime already had its sequel, Naruto Shippuden , which ended in 2017.
Ukyo Kodachi and Mikio Ikemoto launched Boruto: Naruto Next Generations , a sequel manga, in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2016, and the manga was published monthly in the magazine. The manga then moved to Shueisha 's V Jump in July 2019. Masashi Kishimoto took over the project as the manga's writer in November 2020.
Finally, the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime, in turn, premiered in April 2017 and went on hiatus in March 2023 to prepare for the second phase of the story, which takes place after the timeskip.
