He mentions that once the new year begins, new story developments will be introduced into the series. What are these developments being mentioned? And will they air in Naruto Shippuden in 2015, or just a part of it? At this time, the answers to these questions are unknown.
What is known is that there will be a Naruto Shippuden special on December 4th that will revolve around the Hyuga clan, focusing on Hanabi, Hinata's younger sister. The special will address some loose ends from the series and will serve as a bridge to the movie, showing the relationship between siblings from the same clan.
