The new trailer shows scenes from the classic Naruto anime, such as Team 7's bell test and some Chunin Exam fights. However, Studio Pierrot presents these scenes with much better and more modern animation. So the special episodes could simply be a remake of the classic anime with different animation or a new story we haven't seen in the series yet.
Synopsis:
Naruto Uzumaki is a young orphan from the Hidden Leaf Village who dreams of becoming Hokage, the greatest ninja and ruler of his village. Upon graduating as a ninja, Naruto discovers that the spirit of the infamous Nine-Tailed Fox is sealed within him. His father, the Fourth Hokage, imprisoned the fox in his own son when the entity threatened to destroy the Hidden Leaf Village, so he used his baby to imprison the monster. Alongside his classmates, especially Sakura, Sasuke, and mentor Kakashi Hatake, he pursues the arduous mission of becoming the greatest ninja and stopping those who plot to harm his home.
Finally, Naruto received its first anime adaptation by Pierrot studio in 2002 and lasted until 2007. However, in the same year, the anime already received its sequel, Naruto Shippuden, which ended in 2017.
