The new trailer shows scenes from the classic Naruto anime such as team 7's bell test and some Chunin Exam fights. However, the Pierrot studio presents these scenes with much better and more modern animation. So the special episodes could just be a remake of the classic anime with different animation or a new story that we haven't seen in the series yet.
Synopsis:
Naruto Uzumaki is a young orphan from Aldeia da Folha who dreams of becoming Hokage, the greatest ninja and ruler of his village. Upon graduating as a ninja, Naruto discovers that the spirit of the infamous Nine-Tailed Fox is sealed within him. His father, the fourth Hokage, imprisoned the fox in his own son when the entity threatened to destroy Aldeia da Folha, so he used his baby to imprison the monster. Alongside his colleagues, especially Sakura, Sasuke and mentor Kakashi Hatake, he pursues the arduous mission of becoming the greatest ninja and stopping those who plan to harm his home.
Anyway, Naruto received its first anime adaptation by studio Pierrot in 2002 and lasted until 2007. However, in the same year, the anime already received its sequel, Naruto Shippuden, which came to an end in 2017.
