Rumors in 2016 pointed to the adaptation of Naruto Shinden (Naruto True Legend), but now it has finally been confirmed that the three novels will be adapted into anime .

For now we don't have any details about anything about the project, confirmed for adaptation were Shikamaru Hiden (Shikamaru's story), Konoha Hiden (the secret history of the village of Konoha) and Sasuke Shinden (the true legend of Sasuke).

Since Masashi Kishimoto finished his manga in November 2014, Shueisha has published 10 novels based on the saga, 6 of which are from the Hiden (Hidden Legend) series, each based on a character from the franchise.

After the end of the first 6 novels, a new series of novels called Shinden began to be released, which includes the 3 novels.
