Aniplex has revealed a new anime , titled Needy Girl Overdose ( Needy Streamer Overload ), the new adaptation is based on the game. The anime is confirmed for release in April 2026.
In addition to the announcement, prior to the TV broadcast, a special theatrical version of Needy Girl Overdose will be released ahead of schedule. The animation is by Yostar Pictures (Arknights) and directed by Masaoki Nakajima.
Synopsis
NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE follows 30 intense days in the life of a girl with an enormous thirst for approval, who dreams of becoming the world's biggest streamer, and "P," the person who supports her on this path. The game is a multi-ending adventure that has become a phenomenon.
Released in January 2022 on Steam, the title has surpassed 3 million downloads , and its songs have accumulated over 400 million plays , establishing itself as one of the great highlights of indie internet culture.
