For Si-Fi fans, Netflix has announced the premiere date for the animated series Blame!, the new anime that is exclusive to the streaming service and will premiere on May 20, 2017.
The company also revealed some of the animation's cast. Takahiro Sakurai (AJIN: Demi-Human, Knights of Sidonia) will voice the protagonist, Killy, and Kana Hanazawa (Psycho-Pass, Zegapain) will play Cibo, the scientist who accompanies him on this journey.
Sora Amamiya (The Seven Deadly Sins, Tokyo Ghoul) will be Zuru, Aya Suzaki (AJIN: Demi-Human, Knights of Sidonia) will be Tae, Kazuhiro Yamaji (Psycho-Pass, DragonBall Super) will be Oyassan and Mamoru Miyano (AJIN: Demi-Human, The Seven Deadly Sins) will be Sutezou.
Blame is set in the distant future!
Blame! is an adaptation of the manga of the same name, which ran from 1997 to 2003. The plot is set in a distant future, where what remains of humanity lives in the Megastructure, a vast and dangerous labyrinth. In the midst of this madness stands "Killy," a mysterious figure determined to save human civilization from oblivion.
