One Piece – Netflix's Luffy visits Shonen Jump and shows what the place is like

Iñaki Godoy , who plays Luffy in Netflix 's One Piece , paid a visit to Shueisha , the headquarters of the world's largest manga magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump . He had the incredible opportunity to learn about the publisher's work and show off a little of the place from the inside.

The official One Piece live-action channel shared a short video of Iñaki Godoy visiting Japan to show off the inside of Shueisha. This gives us a glimpse into the workplace where One Piece and many other famous manga were produced. The actor also had the opportunity to meet Hiroyuki Nakano , the company's editor-in-chief, and see the first pages of the manga drawn by Eiichiro Oda .

Finally, the main cast of the series includes Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu Arata as Zoro, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Emily Rudd as Nami. The series premieres on August 31st on Netflix.

Synopsis:

The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a rubber body after eating the magical Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). Inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Red-Haired Shanks, Luffy decided to become a pirate and set sail across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
