Animation goes beyond the game's battles
As revealed by Supercell, the story will follow a determined—but totally out of his depth—barbarian who must rally a group of misfits to protect his village. He'll also have to deal with the nonsensical politics of war, something that promises to provide plenty of laughs and unusual scenes.
The franchise's official social media channels reinforced the announcement with good humor. "Raise the flags and reinforce the walls: Clash is invading @Netflix!" the team posted, accompanied by an irreverent teaser featuring the developers on a video call.

John Derderian, Netflix's vice president of animation, stated that the Clash is a perfect fit for a series. After all, it's been a global success for over ten years, packed with humor, action, and iconic characters. According to him, working together with Supercell and creators Fletcher Moules and Ron Weiner will bring the game's spirit to life with all the chaotic energy fans love.
Although a release date has not been announced, the project reinforces the platform's growing focus on animated video game adaptations. Previous hits include Cyberpunk: Edgerunners , Arcane , Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft , and Castlevania .
