The release date of Season 2 of One Piece Live-Action , previously confirmed for 2025 by Netflix , was removed from the platform's official website. The information initially appeared in a Netflix Tudum , which promoted collaboration with Lego, but was later edited.
In the original text, Netflix stated:
Ahoy, Straw Hats! Lego Group, Netflix and Tomorrow Studios are coming together to bring treasures you can keep while waiting for new episodes of One Piece, which arrive this year.
Now the updated version removes any mention of the release date:
“Ahoy, straw hats! Lego Group, Netflix and Tomorrow Studios are coming together to bring treasures that you can keep while waiting for new One Piece episodes. ”
However, it is not yet known if Netflix has made an error by removing the date or whether it really decided to change it. It is worth remembering that season 2 has confirmed more than 20 new actors and revealed the first glimpse of Chopper and Drum Island in September.
One Piece creator himself, Eiichiro Oda , said the new season will overcome the previous one. In addition, a behind -the -scenes video, where actor Jeff Ward participates, indicates that the new episodes can actually arrive in 2025.
Therefore, One Piece Season 1 debuted on August 31 and became an absolute hit, reaching the top of Netflix's global TV ranking with 18.5 million total views, 140.1 million hours assisted and one average display time of 7h34min . Production maintained leadership in the second week, consolidating itself as one of the greatest live-action adaptations of anime.
