Netflix reveals Chopper trailer in One Piece live-action

Netflix finally unveiled the first season 2 teaser of One Piece , highlighting the debut of dear Tony Tony Chopper .

The crew doctor will be played by Mikaela Hoover , who not only lends his voice to the character, but also participates in facial capture. As announced, the new season will reach the platform in 2026, ending the mystery around Chopper's presence.

The new journey with Chopper goes to the end of Drum Island

Previously, in August 2024, Eiichiro Oda himself confirmed that the next phase of the series will adapt Loguetown's events until the end of Drum Island . Since then, fans have eagerly waited for official crew mascot images. Although a preview of the character was released in September of the same year, its full look has only been displayed now.

In addition, Oda shared a special message to celebrate the moment, as usual in major franchise ads. According to him, the new season is ready to exceed all expectations.

New cast and backstage surprise

In addition, Netflix has confirmed more than 20 new characters in the plot. Among the highlights, we have Crocodile, Vivi and Nico Robin , as well as Rigo Sanchez as Dragon , Yonda Thomas as Igaram and Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek .

According to the manga creator, the squad was “perfect”, bringing even more depth to adaptation.

Changes in production and future plans

However, an unexpected fact occurred: showrunner Matt Owens announced its departure from production. He justified the decision as a pause necessary to take care of mental health after pressure from the recordings.

Although Owens left the project, actor Joe Manganiello - cast as Mr. 0 (Crocodile) - confirmed that season 3 recordings start later this year. Therefore, the live-action universe of One Piece follows in full swing.
