Iñaki Godoy , who plays Luffy in Netflix 's One Piece , visited Shueisha , the headquarters of the world's largest manga magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump . He had the incredible opportunity to learn about the publisher's work and show a little of what the place is like inside.

The official channel for the One Piece live-action series shared a short video of Iñaki Godoy visiting Japan to show the inside of Shueisha. Through this video, we can see what the workplace is like where One Piece and many other famous manga were produced. In addition, the actor also had the opportunity to meet Hiroyuki Nakano , the company's editor-in-chief, and see the first pages of the manga drawn by Eiichiro Oda .

Finally, the main cast of the series includes Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu Arata as Zoro, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Emily Rudd as Nami. The series will premiere on August 31st on Netflix.

Synopsis:

The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a body made of rubber after eating the magical Gomu Gomu no Mi (Rubber Fruit). Inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks the Red-Haired, Luffy decided to become a pirate and sail the seas to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the King of the Pirates.
