Netoge no Yome wa Onna – Light novel will end soon

Shibai Kineko announced on its official Twitter this Monday that its light novel “ Netoge no Yome wa Onna no ko ja Nai to Omotta? ” is very close to its conclusion.

Therefore, the novel will end with the release of the 22nd volume as part of Dengeki Bunko . The magazine highlighted that the release of the last volume will be very soon.

The author released the work with illustrations by Hisasi in 2013, and the 21st volume was released in Japan in April 2020.

The novel inspired an anime adaptation in 2016, and Funimation streamed the series as it aired in Japan.

Kazui Ishigami launched a manga adaptation in Dengeki G's Comic in August 2014 and ended it in September 2018. The manga's eighth and final volume launched in Japan in November 2018.

Synopsis

Our protagonist, an MMO player, one day falls in love with a girl in the game, but discovers that it was actually a man playing a female character. Shaken, he decides never to trust a woman online again, until two years later a female character falls in love with him, proposes marriage and wants to meet him in person.
