The official website responsible has finally confirmed a new anime for the series, which will be called “ Love Live! Superstar!! ”
Synopsis
Love Live! Superstar!! takes place at Yuigaoka School, which is a newly created school located between the Omotesando, Harajuku and Aoyama neighborhoods in Tokyo. The story focuses on its first batch of students. With no history, no seniors or alumni, and no reputation, it is a school full of unknowns. Five girls, including Kanon Shibuya, have a fateful encounter with the school's idols. Kanon then decides: “I love singing. I want to make something come true with music!” Many feelings converge for a star that has just begun to grow. The future is blank and full of possibilities for these girls, and the story is just beginning.

The franchise was scheduled to begin casting call auditions starting March 12 , but the auditions were postponed due to the effects of COVID-19 . Auditions are restricted to single women aged 15 to 22 . Auditions will not accept applications from those currently in high school or lower and those with existing contracts with record labels or talent management agencies.
