Therefore, the fourth film, titled “My Hero Academia the Movie: You're Next”, opens on August 2nd in major cinemas in Japan.

Boku no Hero You're Next Synopsis:
The original story takes place in a society devastated by battles between heroes and enemies (villains), and infested with Datsugoku, people who escaped from prisons. Just before the final battle between heroes like the protagonist Izuku Midoriya (Deku) and his enemies, a serious incident occurs that shakes the world. What does the title “You’re Next” mean?
The manga's original creator, Kōhei Horikoshi, will serve as overall supervisor and character designer. The film will have an original story that will take place around the same time period that the anime is currently in, with the collapse of society.
The sixth season of the anime then premiered in October 2022. The season aired for two consecutive “cours” (a quarter of a year) with a total of 25 episodes.
The franchise previously had three films. The film “My Hero Academia: Two Heroes” was released in Japan in July 2018. The second film, “My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising”, was released in Japan in December 2019. Finally, “My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes' Mission” was released in Japan in August 2021.
