Synopsis:
"Kitakubu" (literally, "go home club") is Japanese slang for kids who go home instead of joining clubs. At a high school, there's a veritable "Kitakubu" of girls who do whatever they want. The president is a free spirit named Sakura. Meanwhile, Botan is the heir to an ancient martial arts school. Claire happens to be the daughter of the "head" of the powerful Konoe. Natsuki joined the club at the invitation of another newcomer.
Hikaru Sato (episode director of Aria the Scarlet Ammo, Polar Bear's Café) will be directing the anime with animation production at Studio Nomad and scripts by Go Zappa (Myself; Yourself, NAKAIMO). Takahiro Sesaki (animation director of Infinite Stratos , episodes of Nisemonogatari) will be handling both character design and animation direction. Additionally, Kuroha launched the manga online in August 2011, and Square Enix will be publishing the compiled volume on June 22.
The anime Kitakubu Katsudō Kiroku will premiere in July, let's wait and see!
