The new film will feature a screenplay and design by Akira Toriyama

The news keeps coming in the anime world; this time, via Twitter, the production company Yonkou Productions posted that the anime will get a new movie in 2018. The post makes it clear that creator Akira Toriyama will be involved with the script and design, according to Yonkou Productions.

For now, we don't know much about the film, but everything indicates that the movie will focus on the origin of Goku and company's strength. The film, which is the twentieth in the franchise, is expected to premiere in 2018, but release details have not yet been revealed.
