Unlike Dragon Ball Z: The Battle of the Gods, this new film will tell a new story. Toriyama intended to have this story throughout the series based on the manga. Although he hadn't planned it, he will not only put a lot of effort into crafting the art, but also into “hustling over the lines of dialogue.” He also promised more action scenes and even joked that the story is top secret, but it will be “totally funny.
” Akira Toriyama is personally working on the original concept, script and character designs for this new film.
