The official website for the 2021 Doraemon: Nobita's Little “Star Wars” movie revealed that it has been postponed to spring 2022 , the postponement will occur due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19 .
The film was scheduled to premiere on March 5 , but in January the team then announced that the film has been postponed to an unspecified date.
FuRyu also confirmed in January that the game based on the film has also been delayed to an unspecified date. The game was originally scheduled to release on March 5th alongside the film. The game's website currently doesn't list a release date.
Doraemon: Nobita's Little “Star Wars” 2021 is therefore the 41st film in the Doraemon . The film is a remake of the 1985 Doraemon film of the same title.
