Pokémon Company released a new trailer for Pokémon the Movie: Extreme Speed Genesect : Mewtwo's Awakening (Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Shinsoku no Genesect: Mewtwo Kakusei), the 16th film in the franchise directed by Kunihiko Yuyama . The trailer shows the long-awaited appearance of Mewtwo, who appears to save Ash and his friends from a Genesect attack. The trainer recognizes Mewtwo right away. At the end of the video the phrase is said: “You still don't know the real Mewtwo”. We can also see a quick scene from the short film Pikachu to Eevee Friends, where Sylveon, the new evolution of Eeeve, appears. Pokémon: Extreme Speed Genesect and The Reawakening of Mewtwo is scheduled to premiere on July 13th in theaters in Japan.
