Nintendo announced a new game linked to its classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past during its conference, broadcast live, this Wednesday. The North American broadcast did not give a formal title to the new game, but the Japanese broadcast named the game Zelda no Densetsu: Kamigami no Triforce 2 (The Legend of Zelda: The Triforce of the Gods 2). Zelda Densetsu no Kami is the original Japanese title of A Link to the Past. The new game will take place in the same world as the 1991 classic, but will take advantage of the 3D to give players the best feeling of a dungeon or the various levels of a three-dimensional maze. It will also allow players to place the hero, Link, in 2D mode to traverse along walls or around obstacles. The company announced that the game will be available in 2014 for sale in stores or via download in Japan .
