Yukito Kishiro, the creator of the GUNNM Manga better known as “ Battle Angel Alita ” announced on his blog that he will start a new series in the second half of 2014. The series has a working title of Kasei Senki ( The Martian War Chronicles ). The author is also planning to publish an art book related to the manga.
Remembering that the second issue of Kodansha's Evening-2014 magazine published that the manga Battle Angel Alita Kishiro: Last Order (GUNNM: Last Order) will end with the next chapter on January 28th.
The original story of the manga continues in a Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic scenario in which a city called Zalém floats in the sky and where cyborgs and humans live together. In this situation, cybernetic engineer Daisuke Ido finds the trunk of an inert cyborg in the Scrap City garbage dump, which is located below Zalém, and takes it to his workshop where he reconnects it.
