Synopsis:
The narrative of NieR:Automata revolves around androids 2B, 9S and A2, who find themselves in a battle to retake a dystopia controlled by machines and infested with powerful mechanical entities. Humanity, in turn, was banished from Earth by mechanical beings from another world. So, in a last-ditch effort to reconquer the planet, the human resistance dispatches a team of android soldiers with the aim of annihilating the invaders. Thus, an ongoing war between machines and androids unfolds, about to reveal a long-forgotten truth about the world.

NieR:Automata was released for the PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2017. Furthermore, Square Enix launched the game on PC in March 2017 and on Xbox One in June 2018.
