Therefore, the new anime Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest premieres in July this year, with animation by JCSTAFF (One Punch Man, Shokugeki no Souma, Golden Time).

Although it is a direct sequel to the main series, the story focuses on completing an unfinished century-old mission. The manga was finally released on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app in July 2018 and was licensed by Kodansha USA for an English-language release in North America.
