Nakayoshi magazine Cardcaptor Sakura 's 20th anniversary with a landmark issue released this June 3rd in Japan. The highlight was the debut of the new manga titled Clear Card Arc , which brings Sakura Kinomoto back to the pages, now in her first year of high school.

New arc marks a new phase for the protagonist

Acclaimed by fans of all ages, the CLAMP-created series returns with a nostalgic feel, yet also full of new twists. Sakura is more mature and ready to face new magical challenges that arise in her school life. Furthermore, the edition features a beautiful cover illustrated by CLAMP, as well as colorful pages that rekindle the charm of the original series.

Celebrations took place all over Japan

Previously, to mark this symbolic date, several special events were held in Japan. Among the events was a re-screening of the classic anime, produced by Madhouse, and the long-awaited announcement of a new animated film.
