The official website for the highly anticipated CG film Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary released a banner and several images showing the characters in detail. In the banner art we can see the phrase “Save your Athena” in Portuguese save your Athena. Also watch the trailer in low quality .
The feature film will retell the first phase of the classic manga: The Sanctuary Saga. We don't know exactly what the script will be like. Rumors indicate that the debut in Brazil could happen simultaneously with Japan, the statement was made on the Facebook of the company PiziiToys, an importer and distributor that sells action figures in Brazil. The project is being directed by Keiichi Satou, the same person responsible for Tiger & Bunny and accompanied by Masami Kurumada.
The animation is expected to hit Japanese cinemas in July 2014.
