It was announced in the edition of Akita Shoten that the new manga by authors Megumu Okada and the famous Masami Kurumada, creator of Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac), is scheduled to be released on April 5th. The manga is titled Saint Seiya Episode.G. ~Assassin~ and will have 54 pages, the first of which will be colored.

Megumu Okada launched a prequel to Kurumada's original manga in Champion RED in 2003.

The story followed the Lion Knight "Aiolia" and the other Gold Knights as they fought against the Titans. The manga was on hiatus in 2011, but only returned in March of last year.

Masami Kuramada's last manga, Saint Seiya: Next Dimension-The Myth of Hades, ended in Weekly Shonen Jump last month.
