The cover of the February issue of Square Enix Kuroshitsuji anime series has been greenlit and looks set to go ahead.

Remembering that the live-action film adaptation will be released on Saturday, along with volume 18 which is being published on the same day.

The manga was released by Square Enix in 2006 and has 16 volumes, with 15 million copies in print, including several publications in 42 countries. The manga has inspired several anime series. In 2010, it spawned a TV series and received the award in the "Shonen Manga" category at the "Japan Expo" event in France. In 2011, it won the award for best Manga at the "Animagic" event in Germany.
