The official website for the light novel adaptation by author Nagomu Torii (Kyōkai no Kanata) has released the second promotional trailer for the Kyōkai no Kanata anime. The video showcases details and voices of the main characters.

Taichi Ishidate (Clannad After Story, Hyoka, K-ON) is directing the anime at Kyoto Animation, and Jukki Hanada (Gakuen Alice, Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai!, Steins;! Gate) is writing the series. The anime is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television on October 2 on Tokyo MX TV and TV Aichi.
