Synopsis

The film “MONONOKE” is set in Ōoku (historically the women's quarters of Edo Castle) and attempts to portray women's suffering and medicine. But considering the story point of view, we decided to change the cast of the Medicine Salesman.

Mononoke debuted in 2007 as an anime series with 12 episodes animated by Toei Animation (Dragon Ball, One Piece). Therefore, the series is a spinoff of the anime Ayakashi – Samurai Horror Tales. Although specifically, she follows the medicine seller from the “Bakeneko” (Goblin Cat) arc.

Finally, the Mononoke anime has five arcs, the last one being titled “Bakeneko”.
