Red Thread Games announced Hello Sunshine, a survival and mystery RPG set in a post-apocalyptic future. The game will be released for PC via Steam, but the release date has not yet been revealed. In control of the “last employee”, players will need to face a hostile environment, collect resources and unravel the secrets of a ruined corporate empire.
In Hello Sunshine, the planet was transformed into a scorching desert after the collapse of a megacorporation called sunshine. The protagonist is the only remaining human and his mission is to reach a mysterious tower on the horizon. To survive, he needs to stay in the shadow of a colossus robot that slowly advances through the desert. However, this mechanical guardian is his only protection against the scorching sun and lethal radiation.
When night comes, danger changes shape. Extreme heat gives way to intense cold, forcing the player to fetch shelter next to the robot so as not to freeze. During these breaks, it is possible to set up camping, manufacture equipment and improve the functionality of the giant machine. However, darkness hides unexpected threats, making each night a challenge to survival.

Players will be able to loot wreckage of war machines, abandoned bases and advanced military posts to find valuable materials.
