The name and release date of the new Naruto film, titled The Last -Naruto the was announced in this year's 35th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump . The film's release is scheduled for December 6. It will be the first film in the last 2 years of the series, and is part of a larger project called " Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project " (New Era Opening Project) that marks the 15th anniversary of the famous manga .
Masashi Kishimoto is credited as the original story creator, character designer, and chief screenwriter for the film. For this particular film, he created new character designs. The magazine showcases some designs titled "Ramen Ichiraku" and also comments on Naruto's new concept design: " Naruto's body is toned, with thinning hair and a very adult expression ."
15-second teaser video will air during the anime's July 31st , and finally, the full trailer will begin showing in theaters on August 1st . Additionally, a screening will open in Japan next year.
From 2004 to 2012, new Naruto films were released every year. The ninth film, " Road to Ninja ," was released in Japan in July 2012 and became the highest-grossing film of the entire franchise.
