Like other games on the platform, Squid Game: Unleashed will not have ads or internal purchases, reinforcing the proposal of an immersive and clean experience. According to Alain Tascan, president of Games at Netflix, the decision reflects the desire to make the game accessible to the largest number of players. “We want everyone to participate in this fun chaos, inspired by iconic games in the series ,” he said.
Game combines nostalgia and exciting challenges
The game promises to recreate notable moments from the series, such as “Ponte de Vidro” and “Batatinha Frita 1, 2, 3”, in a multiplayer battle royale format. The goal? Survive challenging competitions and overcome opponents in a dark and nostalgic race. Furthermore, each round combines elements of children's games with the deadly intensity that marked Round 6.
The event revealed new images of the game and a preview of the highly anticipated second season of the series, which premieres on December 26th.
