This is for Pokémon fans, CoroCoro announced new details about the production of the XY film, titled Hakai no Mayu (Cocoon of Destruction), the 17th film in the franchise and the first in the saga to feature Xerneas and Yveltal .

The film will feature a new Legendary Pokémon (No. 719) called Diancie , a Fairy and Rock type. Since it will be the protagonist, the film's title was changed to Pokémon YX: Hakai no Mayu to Dianshi ( Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction) . The new monster can use the "Clear Body" ability, as well as learn attacks like "Hyper Beam" and Explosion.

The plot will depict an "epic battle" between Xerneas and Yveltal. Several legendary and well-known Pokémon will make appearances in the film.

Directed by Kunihiko Yuyama, Pokémon YX: Hakai no Mayu opens in theaters in Japan on July 19.
