Pokémon movie has just been postponed due to the COVID-19 , according to information released on the franchise's official website .
The film was supposed to be released on July 10th , but now we have to wait for the official website to announce a new release date.
It's worth remembering that the new anime was also suspended due to COVID-19 .
Synopsis of the film: The story of the new film takes place in the Okoya Forest, a paradise protected by strict rules that forbid outsiders from entering. The film centers on Koko, a boy who was raised by Pokémon and also considers himself one, treating the Mythical Pokémon Zarude as his father. Ash and Pikachu meet Koko during an adventure. Above all, the film focuses on the theme of a "human raised by Pokémon," instead of the focus of previous films which do just the opposite.
This movie will be the 23rd in the franchise , and it will be called " Pokémon: Koko ".
Some names familiar to fans of previous films return for the film's production, such as Atsuhiro Tomioka and Hiroyuki Kato .
After two years, this will be the first anime film in the franchise, since the movie " Detective Pikachu " was live-action , and " Mewtwo Strikes Back " was a computer-animated remake .
