During the Pokémon Game Show taking place in Japan on the 17th and 18th, a new Pokémon animation or rather a special (OVA) was announced, confirmed via Twitter serebeii , in a way to coincide with Pokémon X/Y .
This new animation will feature Red and Green , the two main characters from the first games in the Game Boy series. The animated series is called Pokémon: The Origin .

About the characters: A boy called Red with his Pokémon Hitokage/Charmander, his biggest rival is called Green (both RED and GREEN are names in Video Games). Professor Oak, Brock, and Red's mother, and the famous Team Rocket will also appear. This special is set to premiere on October 2nd. More information soon.
