Avex has released a new promotional video for the anime Hamatora: the Animation . The video features the opening song " Flat, " performed by Livetune and featuring Yūki Ozaki (Galileo Galilei). The video begins with Koneko announcing that a client is coming for a case.

The anime takes place in the year 2014 where (Yokohama) and “Hamatora” is a detective agency formed by Nice and Murasaki but their “office” is the table at Café Nowhere where they and their friends wait for clients.

An old acquaintance of theirs, police officer Art, hires them for a serial murder case he's investigating, only to discover that all the victims are "Minimum Holders." Since Nice and Murasaki are "Minimum Holders," whether they like it or not, they're drawn into this case.

The series is scheduled to premiere on January 7th on the TV-Tokyo Channel.
