The official website for Sword Art Online II began streaming a new promotional video for this weekend. The video showcases the new opening theme song, " Ignite ," featuring the returning singer Eir Aoi .
The new series will adapt the third arc , Phantom Bullet, Reki Kawahara 's original light novel . The new arc , spanning the fifth and sixth volumes, introduces the heroine Sinon and the already well-known protagonist Kirito .
The premiere in Japan will be on Tokyo, MX TV on July 5th at 11:30 AM . Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will reprise his role as Kirito, the protagonist from the first season of the anime .
