New Rurouni Kenshin anime gets trailer and promotional image

The new anime in the popular Rurouni Kenshin ( Samurai X ) franchise has had a new trailer and promotional image revealed. According to reports, the new series will premiere in 2023 on Fuji TV specifically in the Noitamina block.

Thus, the direction is by Hideyo Yamamoto at the animation studio Liden Films (Tokyo Revengers, Yofukashi no Uta), composition by Hideyuki Kurata , character design by Terumi Nishii and music by Yu Takami .

Watsuki and his wife, Kaoru  Kurosaki , launched the  Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc manga in Shueisha's Jump SQ in September 2017. The manga went on hiatus in December 2017 after Watsuki was accused of possession of child pornography. The series later resumed publication in June 2018.
