The broadcast time for Boruto has changed!
For hardcore fans of the Boruto anime , the continuation of the Naruto saga, the airing date in Japan has been changed. It will now premiere on May 3rd, 2018, airing on Thursdays at 7:25 PM.
The previous schedule remains in effect until the end of April, airing on Wednesdays at 5:55 PM. There is no definitive explanation for the change in day and time.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations , written by Ukyō Kodachi and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto, premiered on TV Tokyo on April 5, 2017. Unlike the manga, which began as an adaptation of the film, the new saga starts as a prequel set before Boruto and his friends become ninjas. The arc being adapted was depicted in one of the films released in 2015. However, the studio responsible for it promises new developments.
