Written by Yashichiro Takahashi, Shakugan no Shana will get a new story arc soon. This is confirmed by the information that arrived in the edition of the magazine “Dengeki Bunko” launched in Japan.
Shakugan no Shana follows a supernatural atmosphere where it centers on Sakai Yuji, a normal boy who finds himself involved in an ancient conflict between forces. In the process, he befriends a Swing Forces fighter and names her “Shana”.
Shakugan no Shana incorporates fantasy and slice of life elements into its plot.
The manga adaptation yielded 3 anime with 24 episodes each, a 4-episode OVA series, an animated film and a single-episode OVA series. A video game for Playstation 2 was released in March 2006, being adapted for Nintendo DS in March 2007.
